I'm a Chicago-based UX designer with 5 years of experience. I received my Masters of Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie-Mellon University in 2011 and since and have worked in a variety settings, including corporate, agency, and academia. I approach designing user experiences as teaching and facilitating- which could include teaching the client, as well as people who use the product. My aim is to help people achieve their goals, and provide a frictionless, and perhaps even delightful journey towards that end. Ultimately I want to design products that engage people in making the world a better place.
I also enjoy making pottery, working out, volunteering with shelter animals, and parenting my tailless, toothless black cat, Matias.
